Confectioner Swiss Delice announced back in May its intention to target the UK premium confectionery and biscuit market with a range of products aimed at a young affluent market. The company updated its brand this month, unveiling a new range of up-market range of chocolates and biscuits.
Targeting the growing premium indulgence sector, the company hopes to build sales of around £3 million in its first year, making the UK one of its key worldwide markets.
The range will comprise of four variants of its Supreme block chocolate range, extensive premium chocolate bars and a selection of biscuits. The biscuit range includes Brasilia, a meringue based biscuit with a hazelnut filling, Truffino Chocolat Lait and Truffino Chocolat Noir, a chocolate wafer with hazelnut filling with either milk or dark chocolate.
The company is also looking to gain a foothold in the UK confectionery market with its selection of four premium bars. These are Merveille de Lait, an extra smooth milk chocolate, Bouquet d'Orange, a extra fine dark chocolate with a fruity touch of orange, Harmonie Café & Cacao, extra fine milk chocolate with coffee and crispy cocoa nibs, and finally, Rêve de Coco, a fine white chocolate with refreshing coconut rasps.
