Luxury chocolatier Lindt has created a ‘Hoppiness campaign’ around its iconic Gold Bunny Easter treat with £50,000 worth of prizes available to be won by UK consumers.

Sure to hit the sweet spot with Uk chocolate lovers, the Lindt Gold Bunny Hoppiness Campaign includes hiding 10 tokens, each worth £5,000, inside the Milk 100g (in selected stores and plain foil bunnies only) Gold Bunny.

“Whether it’s a little treat for yourself, a gift or shared, 27 million of us will indulge in chocolate this Easter, and the Lindt Master Chocolatiers are making the season even more special,” a Lindt spokesperson said.

“In the busy hustle and bustle of modern life, Easter is one of the rare moments when we take time to meet with loved ones and friends to share happiness and create special memories, and with the launch of its Hoppiness campaign, Lindt want to make these joyful moments even more special.”

Lindt says that more than 160 million of its Gold Bunny figures have ‘hopped’ around the world each year since its creation 70 years ago – lined up, this is the distance from Lindt’s headquarters in Kilchberg, Switzerland, all the way to San Diego, California.
