Baker Perkins revamps sales operation

Equipment supplier Baker Perkins has reorganised its sales team following the departure of a veteran sales manager.

Former sales manager Stuart McGill recently retired after 19 years with Baker Perkins.

His departure has sparked a re-think in the sales team with four area manager appointments.

Jason Scott, who joined Baker Perkins in the 1980s, has assumed responsibility for serving customers in Africa, the Indian sub-continent and the Middle East.

David Symonds, another with around 20 years’ experience, takes responsibility for Eastern Europe, Russia and central Asia.

Alex McCutcheon, the youngest of the four managers, takes control of sales in Western Europe, while Mark Sheffield will continue to look after Asia Pacific, China and Australasia.

The fours managers will help customers incorporate Baker Perkins equipment from product and process trials through plant design, manufacture and installation.
