Pepsico exec and ex-Chiquita head join Callebaut board

Barry Callebaut has elected a Pepsico executive and the former CEO of Chiquita Brands to its Board of Directors.

The firm has elected Timothy E. Minges, who is currently chairman of PepsiCo Greater China Region and also serves on the board of Tingyi-Asahi Beverage.

Fernando Aguirre is the other appointment. He served as the Chairman and CEO of Chiquita Brands from 2004 until 2012. He is still a consultant to Chiquita and is also a director at Levi Strauss & Co. and Aetna Inc.
