The company provides supply-chain planning and demand analytics software solutions. The company’s approach combines informed decision-making with an interface that is designed to make the software easy to use.
Food forecasting
Swedish food machinery and solutions Lantmannen’s Unibake bakery products division recently implemented the company’s demand forecasting software. Company representatives said the demand modelling feature enabled staff to spend less time checking forecasts, letting them focus on other important tasks.
Unibake also shifted forecasting duties to sales staff, from logistics. The decision, facilitated by the ToolsGroup software, helped increase forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
Conserving costs
Spanish food manufacturer Grupo Panrico has deployed the software to help conserve manufacturing and logistics costs across its distribution network. According to director of operations Joan Mas, ToolsGroup staff offered a wealth of knowledge to help guide implementation and use of the software.
“They helped us integrate our Commercial and Industrial objectives, and consolidate the results of the restructuring plans and operating cost optimization,” she said. “The ROI of the project is less than one year."
Sales and operation planning manager Isaac Huerta added that the software has helped Panrico Donuts get a better handle on market demand, improve planning across the supply chain, and enhance customer service.
Customer-centric approach
Joseph Shamir, ToolsGroup CEO, said the software solution is resonating with food and beverage companies around the globe who are looking to improve supply-chain and sales/operations efficiency.
“From global enterprises like Diageo and Danone to rising players like Costa, Deoleo, and Candy King, we are pleased to be the solution of choice for some of the world's most efficient and successful companies in the industry,” he said.
