Lolli and Pops and Powell’s Sweet Shoppe combine forces

Powell’s Sweet Shoppe and Lolli and Pops have agreed a merger deal to create a large retail network of 35 stores.

“Powell’s Sweet Shoppe has always been a great brand, but we’ve been missing structure and resources. The merger with Lolli and Pops gives us the much needed resources to grow as a brand,” said CEO of Powell’s Sweet Shoppe CEO Bear Silber, who will remain with the company as President of Powell’s.

San-Francisco headquartered Lolli and Pops was founded in 2012 and has stores in Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma, and California. It has further locations planned in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington.

Powell’s Sweet Shoppe was founded in 2003 in Windsor, California. It operates stores in California, Oregon and Idaho.
