The announcement follows successful events in Spain with mainly European participants, to learn more about the company, its business model and inviting firms to collaborate.
Reduces cost of transportation of raw materials
Blendhub Corp designs Portable Powder Blending (PPB) plants, the commercial name of a portable factory, to produce food powder blends anywhere in the world near the raw materials or the final destination of the production.
The concept enables the optimization, in cost and time, of the supply chain, reducing the costs of transportation of raw materials and final products, import tariffs and raw material inventories of the food producers or food blenders using it.
Henrik Stamm Kristensen, founder/CEO, Blendhub Corp, claims its PPBs revolutionize the food processing industry because during the last 50 years, raw food powder materials and blended products were transported around the globe.
“Food Powder Blends are present in all processed food. Stabilizers, emulsifiers, texturizers, colors and flavors are used to produce food applications such as processed cheese, beverages, yoghurts, creams, processed meat, sauces and dressings,” he said.
“Food Powder Blends are marketed as final products that are mixed with water or other ingredients, for beverages or soups for example. This is the case of our Almospray 10 which mixed with water is sold as ready-to-drink almond milk.”
Plans to open 40 factories in three years
The company set up its third PPB in Mexico, after Spain and India, last year, and now plans to open 40 factories in the next three years claiming processed food sales will reach $8tr in 2016.
As part of the event at the Conrad Hilton Hotel, in Dubai, the company will offer professionals and SMEs an opportunity to participate in a movement that it claims challenges the way the agrifood sector operates and creates value.
People aspiring to become a part of the Professional Network are food industry stakeholders either contributing with specific know-how, superior technology or a valuable industry network.
The objective is to create joint business opportunities and shared value for stakeholders in the entire agri-food value chain.
