CPG launches flat-bottom, stand-up pouch for confectionery and snacks

Consolidated Packaging Group (CPG) has launched a flat-bottom, stand-up pouch for confectionery and snacks.

The flat-bottom, stand-up pouches are manufactured in different sizes, printed using advanced HD 175-line screen Flexo in up to 10 colors.

Five display panels

Gary Kaufman, executive VP, CPG, said the packages feature a flat bottom for stability while the quad-sealed side-gussets provide rigidity, framing the five display panels for shelf impact and brand awareness.

We’re excited about adding flat-bottom pouches to our already broad pouch portfolio,” he said.

We now offer virtually any style pouch, including traditional stand-up, quad-seal side-gusseted, shaped, fitment and flat pouches, to meet market demand.”

Kaufman added the pouches’ film structure is designed to meet oxygen and moisture barrier property requirements.

Different films

An added feature is the ability to use different films on a single package, such as a metalized, foil or matte finish front panel with a clear material on the side panels to see the product inside.

The pouches also come with re-closeable options such as Press-To-Close, Aplix or Velcro zippers for added convenience.

CPG, based in New Jersey, US, has offices in Ohio and Indiana, with a portfolio including Inno-lok pre-zippered rollstock.
