MacIntyre Chocolate Systems launches New Generation Refiner/Conche Range
With processing capacities from 500kg up to 5,000kg, the New Generation range is available for small and large batch productions of products in the confectionery, savoury and bakery industry.
Conched chocolate
For example, it can grind nuts into paste and cocoa nibs into liquid chocolate for bars as well as ice cream coatings, chocolate spreads, yoghurt coatings, and sweet and savory cremes.
“The range is designed to enhance the operations of companies committed to high quality chocolate and broaden the scope for the Refiner/Conche in the savory and bakery markets,” said Joe Gorman, operations director, MacIntyre Chocolate Systems.
The machine can mix and refine fat based masses, and produce smooth refined and conched chocolate with particle sizes as low as 15 microns.
Process parameters or ‘recipes’ can be stored in the PLC software for a given product to be selected and the control panel screen features a suite of control and monitoring functions including maintenance alerts, storing and download of data for production traceability.
With the New Generation Refiner/Conche range, MacIntyre introduces its first machines made using advanced technology for castings with increased strength and durability.
Redesigned sealing assemblies
The introduction of a pressurised air chocolate seal, and redesigned sealing assemblies improve seal life for simpler maintenance and reduced downtime.
MacIntyre Chocolate Systems, part of HDM (Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken), based in Scotland supplies chocolate manufacturing and processing equipment.
It supplies machinery for small and large scale manufacture of pure chocolates, compounds, truffles, cream fillings, nut pastes, chocolate spreads, yogurt coatings, and sweet and savory cremes.
