Spanish Candy Company Kidz World heads to ISM/ProSweets this month on the back of success at the Yummex trade fair in Dubai, where it won the Innovation Award for its Chili Candy.
The multinational company with offices in Spain, Denmark and Hong Kong is regarded as one of the most active companies in the development and production of novelty candy products, and visitors to ISM in Cologne (January 27-30) can check it out in the New Product Showcase.
Chili Candy, one of the companies’ latest innovations , is a combination of candy with a challenge/game; the product consists in an assortment of six Jelly Beans colors and flavors with different spiciness levels, starting from the light green (less spicy) to the brown (the most spicy).
The company says: “Kids love to have fun challenging themselves or friends by trying each spicy level, and this is one of the product drivers of its success and one of the main reasons why the jury selected our product as the winner!”
Francesc Cotolí, Kidz World managing director, told Confectionery News that this award is the result of the investment in R&D and also “the advantage of counting in a great team of creative people and designers”. He said Kidz World’s aim is to launch 20 to 30 candy novelties every year
Chili Candy comes presented in 40g foil bags inside an eye catching 24 units counter display box.
