The Wefapress Flex 77 ultra-high molecular weight polyethylenes (UHMWPE) material is used in the production and processing of food and beverages, agribusiness production, manufacturing and automation processes.

Cut To Size is the distributor for Wefapress in Australia and Wefapress manufactures its products in Germany.
The liners are between 10-15mm thick for easy application but can be up to 40mm thick in certain cases. The Flex Cover panels come in different sheet sizes according to particular industries and come with one side planed for easy application.
Laurie Green, MD, Cut To Size Plastics, said the Liner (Flex 77) is not an entire machine, but one component that is designed to improve flow and tolerate high temperatures without experiencing wear.
It is part of a new range being introduced by Wefapress globally (and by Cut To Size in Australasia). Flex 77 is the most applicable to food and beverages.
“Flex 77 is one of Wefapress’ globally Flex Cover ranges of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylenes (UHMWPE) that have been chemically modified to make this tough, light material particularly suitable for high-temperature applications,” said Green.
He added the Wefapress Flex Cover range is typically eight times lighter than comparable steel liners used to curtail friction, wear and material flow challenges in diverse applications and does not need moisture absorption.
>100 deg C
The FDA-approved liner can withstand temperatures of >100°C (>212°F) for long periods, while ensuring increased impact resistance and sliding properties.
Workers at Cut To Size Plastics have received training in the use of Flex Cover in bulk handling and liner applications including agricultural materials and food and beverage manufacturing, automation and processing.
Wefapress, which is a long-term partner of Cut To Size Plastics, was the first manufacturer of UHMWPE plastic sheet in Europe and offers research and development facilities to produce lining sheets for particular applications.
