tna has promoted Jonathan Rankin to CEO, having recently returned to the company as Chief Sales Officer (CSO).

Rankin, who previously worked for Marel before re-joining tna at the beginning of last year will oversee tna’s day-to-day operations, and focus on how to take the company’s operational efficiencies and growth to the next level.

VFFS systems

Founded in 1982 by Alf Taylor and his wife Nadia, tna claims to have invented one of the first rotary, continuous motion, high-speed VFFS ( Vertical Form Fill Seal) system for the snacks industry.

The company has since grown from its headquarters in Australia to become a worldwide company for the food processing and packaging for snacks, confectionery, fresh and frozen produce.
Our growth over the last few years has been incredible,“ said Taylor, co-founder/MD, tna.

“We now operate out of 30 sites and employ over 500 people around the world.

Over the last 36 years, we’ve added some truly amazing people to our team, gained a fantastic bunch of customers and established ourselves as a global leader on the snack food manufacturing market.

Jonathan celebrated some of our most important milestones with us and played an instrumental role in our growth. We were thrilled when he decided to come back and can’t wait to see just how much further he’ll take the business.”

Oceania

Rankin’s experience in the food industry spans over three decades. Having held various global management roles at tna from 1993 until 2003, he returned to tna earlier this year to oversee tna’s global sales division. Prior to that, he was general manager for food processing specialist Marel, where he was responsible for the successful growth of the company’s Oceania operations.
