Five-time Grand Slam champion exits Wimbledon in first round in second successive year as her premium candy line Sugarpova lands in UK.

There was some good news this week for tennis champion Maria Sharapova, who had to retire from her first round Wimbledon match against Pauline Parmentier because of a recurring arm injury.

The former world number one launched her premium candy line Sugarpova in the UK through a new partnership with Kingdom of Sweets.

Sugarpova candies are available at all nine Kingdom of Sweets locations, as well as on kingdomofsweets.com, bringing the tennis star’s popular line of chocolates, truffles, gummies and more to UK retail stores for the very first time.

The selection of products includes fan-favorite tennis ball-shaped gum balls and chocolate-covered gummy lips - one of Sharapova’s personal favorites.

As a celebration during Wimbledon fortnight, Kingdom of Sweets’ Piccadilly Circus, Trocadero location will feature a special Sugarpova Pop-Up where fans can find, purchase and share their favorite candies from a photo booth.
