Its sugar free, gelatine free, gluten free Gummy Bears were chosen as the winning product by John Whaite – winner of Great British Bake Of TV programme in 2012 - in one of the most competitive of categories.
It follows a steady flurry of awards in the last 12 months, including winners of the 2018 Health Food Business 'Best food and drink' award and runners up in the Your Healthy Living awards in the 'best free from category'.
Lisa Gawthorne, co-founder of Bravura Foods, who own the brand, said: “We are naturally really pleased about this award that joins many more as we continue our quest to make more confectionery vegan friendly”.
As well as being widely available in stores across the UK, the brand is also now distributed to countries including Norway, Finland, Iceland, Slovenia and Australia.
Karl Morris, another co-founder of Bravura Foods, added: “We all know we have a winning product but it’s nice for such prestigious judges and awards to confirm this as we continue to grow the brands presence in the UK and across Europe.”
