Fudge Kitchen will celebrate all things British launching a ‘I love London’ line at ISM 2020, as well as revealing exciting plans for Christmas this year.

The range includes the Union flag range in four sizes, the London Slider range, handmade fudge bearing iconic symbols of London and a Christmas range of brittles, fudges and caramels.

New for Christmas 2020 is its Spiced Caramels joining five other chocolate-coated caramels, in festive flavours such as cinnamon, nutmeg, anise and cloves, sealed in an telescopic luxury box.

“2020 will be Fudge Kitchen’s sixth ISM, which is testament to how important the show is to us. Over the years, it has given us quality leads for UK and international buyers that have significantly helped growth; and has developed our distribution networks across Europe and Canada,” said Sian Holt, MD, Fudge Kitchen.

“ISM allows us to reconnect with existing customers, introducing them to our products, ranges and new packaging; and helping them to hone their listings for 2020 – with Christmas always a key planning focus.

“It is also an indispensable window on global confectionery trends and ingredients. I am looking forward to scouting for interesting new products, developing themes and inspiration to take back to our busy kitchen in Kent.”

Fudge Kitchen was founded by Jim Garrahy in Blackpool in 1983. In 1995, the company was bought by Holt, who expanded into seven shops in Bath, York, Cambridge, Canterbury, Windsor, Edinburgh and Oxford, before steering the brand into a new, wholesale phase of its life, with the development in 2012 of the Gourmet Butter Fudge range.

“We are very excited about unveiling our London Sliders at ISM. The packaging celebrates three much loved icons of our capital – Big Ben, the classic red Telephone Box and the London bus alongside a fourth generic “I Love London’ line; making it the perfect, premium gift product for London based or focused brands, particularly in the tourist, hospitality and travel sectors,” said Rupert Allinson, key accounts manager, Fudge Kitchen.

“From gift shop souvenirs to hotel loyalty rewards to impulse treats in the city’s finest stores to corporate gifts for London brands. These are six handmade squares of premium vanilla fudge that speak of the history of the city and are made less than 60 miles away in Kent, the Garden of England.”

Fudge Treats

Proudly flying the flag for Britishness, the Union flag range comes in four sizes: from individually boxed single Fudge Treats, to nine and six piece gift selections, to a 24 piece showcase of award-winning flavours.

There is also a Best of British selection: a nine-piece celebration of some of the recipes that put the Great in front of Britain including Cherry Bakewell, Apple Crumble, Clotted Cream, Traditional Vanilla, Chocolate Fruit & Nut, Stem Ginger, White Chocolate & Raspberry and Double Trouble Chocolate and Butterscotch.

2019 saw a radical redesign across the Fudge Kitchen Christmas range, with a gilt and red packaging for on-shelf appeal. It included: Fudge Crackers; Christmas Sharer fudge selection; Tuck Box Trio crumbly fudge, nut brittle and chocolate caramels and Speculoos Nut Brittle.
