Beginning today (Monday April 6), US candymaker Russell Stover is embracing the spirit of the Easter holiday’s beloved backyard hunts with the launch of The Great Bunny Hunt on Instagram to bring loved ones closer during the coronavirus lockdown.

The iconic chocolatier will be hiding chocolate bunnies in various Instagram posts from their handle (@RussellStoverUS) throughout the week for followers find and compete for their chance to win a year of Russell Stover Chocolates for themselves and to gift a friend or loved one.

Fans can submit their entries via TheGreatBunnyHunt.com, with the winner being announced on April 16.

Russell Stover is also offering ‘Virtual Hugs’ via custom created GIFs as a way to cope and retain human connections during this tough time.

Individuals can use the hashtag #MakeHappy and encourage their followers to join in and bring a smile to faces across the country. Additionally, they have created a national campaign promoting virtual hugs. Check out the responses so far here.
