Launched in the UK in 2020, Happi is 100% natural, made with gluten free oat milk and rice syrup and promises a ‘rich & creamy taste with no nasties'.
Its new white chocolate products have been launched in response to demand and brings its range to six flavours, two white chocolate and four milk chocolate.
“The response to the brand since we launched in January has been phenomenal, so it was a natural transition to broaden the range and bring in some white chocolate bars to appeal to the sweeter toothed chocolate lovers amongst us,” said Gavin Cox, founder of Happi.
“Our white chocolate isn’t too sweet and we use the same single origin chocolate to give it a really rounded and full flavour,” he adds.
Happi said it sources its single origin chocolate directly and ethically from farmers and growers with a full ‘farm-to-bar’ supply chain and has replaced soya lecithin with sunflower lecithin to make the range completely allergen free. It says it is also 35% less sugar than other mass market chocolate brands.
The two new products are available from Selfridges, Ocado, Holland & Barratt and local independent retailers nationwide, in 40g and 80g bars and join the rest of the range which include Plain Happi, Cacao Nib Crunch, Salted Caramel and Orange.
Also in the range is Happi Oat Milk Chocolate Buttons, designed to appeal to those wanting a tasty chocolate snack on the go.
