The KitKat Chunky was launched in 1999 and over the years it has been frequently innovated to deliver standout flavours, including Peanut Butter, Hazelnut, Coconut, Chocolate Fudge and New York Cheesecake.
Nestlé's research indicates caramel is the most popular milk chocolate variant in the UK, purchased by 64% of all UK households – and the penetration of salted caramel has trebled in the last four years, with one in four shoppers claiming to have tried a salted caramel product.
The 42g limited edition bars (RRP 70p) will be available in a wide range of major UK retailers, including wholesale and convenience stores, from August 2.
