For the first time, Anuga was additionally enhanced by a new digital format, Anuga@home, offering guests the opportunity to be part of the hybrid edition of Anuga – whether on-site in Cologne or in digital form.
This innovation has been adapted for ISM/ProSweets with the motto ‘Always on’, organisers say.
Network
Koelnmesse said it is ensuring that all relevant players of both industries can not only network at the at the trade centre, but also take part digitally and remain up-to-date on current themes.
“The exhibitors will benefit from the chance to access new target groups and present their solutions to an even broader public, said Koelnmesse. The visitors can go live any time or call up content precisely then when they have the time. In addition, the digital components also offer those people, who cannot participate on-site, a new form of participation without missing out on the trade fair altogether."
The platform is available to exhibitors and visitors from 1 February 2022. The physical trade fair commences on 31 January 2022.
Trend lectures, trade information and start-up pitches will take place on the Expert Stage. At the Global Competence in Food Stage visitors will receive information from the Koelnmesse Food network as well as market research results and sweet trends from around the globe.
Manufacturers will be able to present their products and solutions in the form of short lectures on the Product Stages. All presentations will subsequently be available on demand up until 30 April 2022, which will further extend the reach of the trade fair.
Newcomer Area
One of the main areas of interest at next year’s event will be The Newcomer Area, which will provide visitors with fresh insights into the sweets and snacks industry and where young companies will present their product ideas and new products.
The trade programme is rounded off by the future congress #CONNECT2030 in transition, which is being jointly organised with ISM, with experts discussing the future shape of the sweets and snacks industry.
