The National Confectioners Association (NCA) has confirmed that its 2022 ‘State of the Industry Conference: Unmuted’ will take place at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry from 13 to 15 March.

The annual State of the Industry Conference, available for NCA member companies and qualified retailers, brings together confectionery leaders and their retail partners for three days of discussion, learning and connection – and sets the agenda for America’s confectionery industry over the next year.

Having postponed last year’s live event because of travel restrictions, attendees will be the first to get their hands on NCA's 2022 State of Treating Report and will have access to exclusive insights from key retailers on the post-pandemic confectionery retail landscape or the examination of how consumer and cultural shifts have impacted the confectionery industry.

Christopher Gindlesperger, NCA Senior Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications, told ConfectioneryNews: “We’re so excited to convene our industry live, in-person and face-to-face at the 2022 State of the Industry Conference, bringing attendees together for our first ‘family reunion’ in two years.

“There’s no better place to connect with peers, build new business opportunities and benefit from sessions that offer insights into a wide range of topics. Simply put, nothing compares to the in-person SOTIC experience.”

In addition to facilitating connections between leaders in the confectionery industry and their retail customers, the State of the Industry provides dozens of educational sessions, including exclusive sessions on confectionery retail channels and original research presentations.
