In line with the brand’s eco ethos, the eggs are all handmade in the UK using sustainably sourced cocoa, and are palm oil free with zero plastic, 100% recyclable packaging.
Every purchase also supports Love Cocoa’s ‘Plant A Tree’ commitment, aiming to plant over half a million trees in 2022 in East Kenya – a spokesperson said, last year the brand planted one tree every minute in a bid to combat climate change and deforestation.
James Cadbury, Love Cocoa founder and the great-great-great grandson of Mr John Cadbury, said: “With consumer appetite for premium chocolate continuing to soar we’ve decided to bring out two new luxury options to satisfy consumer demand and drive incremental Easter sales. And we’ve also brought back our much-loved Sea Salt Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel Eggs to ensure there’s something to suit a range of budgets. Our eggs have always been 100% plastic-free and we’re delighted to see so many other brands now embrace this, too.”
Designed to make the most out of the upcoming seasonal sales period, the stylish eggs promise to deliver the ultimate grown-up chocolate fix and include a vegan-friendly Love Cocoa Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Luxury Egg and a vegetarian Love Cocoa Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate Luxury Egg, as well as Love Cocoa Luxury Giant Milk Chocolate Egg with Salted Caramel Truffles and Love Cocoa Luxury Half & Half with Salted Caramel Truffles.
The collection is available from the company’s website and high street stores, including Liberty and Fenwick in the UK.
