Cooper will oversee Mondelēz brands including Cadbury, Oreo, Maynards Bassetts, Ritz, belVita, Freia and Maribou.
Since joining the company, Cooper, a 20-year Mondelēz veteran, has successfully led biscuit, chocolate, and confectionery businesses both in the US and internationally during his career; most recently holding the position of Senior Vice President of Growth for North America.
He brings to the role a consistent track record of commercial performance, building the company’s marketing capabilities, delivering top-tier marketing activity, and producing best-in-class digital and social marketing.
Cooper replaces Clive Jones who takes on a new role within the business as President Central Europe, EU Central Sales & Global Licensing.
Jones will be responsible for Mondelēz’s businesses in Central Europe, which span more than 20 markets.
