A variant of LoveRaw’s crispy wafer, the new vegan treats are filled with a biscuit cream with a caramel layer and crunchy biscuit crumb.
The Caramelised Biscuit Cre&m Wafer Bars contain two individually wrapped plant-based and palm oil-free wafer fingers and are available in Asda stores in the UK.
LoveRaw said it has also secured listings for the new wafer in selected Asda stores, SPAR outlets and more than 100 WHSmith travel stores.
This new product comes after a hugely successful year for the brand, which is the fastest growing plant-based impulse company in the UK, according to market researchers, IRI.
The Caramelised Biscuit Cre&m Wafer follows the launch of the brand’s Nutty Choc Balls, which saw almost a quarter of a million Nutty Choc Balls fly off the shelves in just three weeks. LoveRaw is looking to further grow its share of the UK’s plant-based market, which is expected to be worth £1.1bn by 2023.
Manav Thapar, Co-Founder at LoveRaw, said: “Our new Caramelised Biscuit Cre&m Wafer is an exciting addition to our wafer bar range, and will ultimately give those leading a vegan diet – and also those that don’t – greater choice when it comes to indulgent snacks.
“Our mission is to create the best-tasting and most innovative plant-based chocolate products and the new wafer bar delivers on this. The quality and taste of LoveRaw is as good as, or better than, conventional chocolate.”
