Family-owned Hames Chocolates has announced a move into the fast-growing pouches sector with new Hames Solid Milk Chocolate Shapes.

The Lincolnshire firm has been making chocolates and confectionery since 2005 and said its new pouches are ideal for a host of gifting and retail outlets as well as high street retailers and specialist chocolate shops.

The time is right for us to launch these new sharing pouches,” said Carol Oldbury, Director of Hames Chocolates. “Mintel’s recent research confirms that since the pandemic there’s been a shift in chocolate confectionery purchasing, from higher-priced impulse formats to larger formats, and right now the nation could do with exciting treats that they can engage with and share.”

Hames Chocolates’ new range of 100g Solid Milk Chocolate Shapes pouche comes in eye-catching packaging, combining contemporary designs and branding to create standout on-shelf, particularly in retail and leisure retail outlets. The new Solid Milk Chocolate Shapes range supports sustainability using Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa, and all the packaging components of the new pouches are recyclable.
