A&R Carton takes controlling stake in UK paperboard company

Swedish company A&R Carton has acquired a controlling stake in Speciality Paperboard Containers Ltd (SP Containers) in a move that looks set to accelerate the growth of the UK paperboard firm.

Austrian confectionery firm Hauswirth is said to be appealing a ruling of a Vienna court this week that it refrain from selling its chocolate bunny figurines as they infringe Swiss confectioner Lindt’s trademark.
